Louisiana

In 2018, our Louisiana partners, as members of the Unanimous Jury Coalition, achieved a groundbreaking win with Amendment 2 which eliminated a Jim Crow-era law which allowed non-unanimous juries to convict people of a felony and passed House Bill 265 restoring the voting rights of people with convictions.
